Button praying for rain

Jenson Button is still searching for his first Grand Prix victory and hopes to score this weekend during his home race at the circuit of Silverstone. If Button would win, he'd be the first British driver to do so since the victory of Scotsman David Coulthard in 2000.

Button hopes for rain during the weekend as he thinks it could improve the performance of the RA106. The Briton reamains realistic though, and realises that a victory in front of his home crowd will be like climbing Mount Everest: very hard but not impossible.

Jenson Button "We need anything that will shake things up. In one way, I want it to be a great weekend for the fans but our car would be as good in the wet as the dry. There is more chance of other people making mistakes and that would give us a chance to capitalise."
