Wurz fastest during first practice session at Silverstone
During the first free practice session of the British GP, most of the race drivers didn't bother to clock a fast lap. Because of this, the practice session was dominated by the test drivers. Alexander Wurz of the Williams F1 Team was able to clock the fastest time and was followed by Anthony Davidson (Honda) and Robert Kubica (BWM Sauber). Breakdown bird of the session was Frenchman Franck Montagny. The Super Aguri driver his car stopped on track at turn 1 and the session had to be suspended for a while.
