After Jacques Villeneuve on Saturday, Pedro de la Rosa, the Spanish test driver of McLaren, has left the Grand Prix Drivers' Association. Last Friday the drivers decided on the GPDA meeting that Michael Schumacher could keep his Directors' role. Both Jacques Villeneuve and Pedro de la Rosa don't agree with this decision and have decided to leave the association.

Michael Schumacher kept his Directors' role in the GPDA and both Villeneuve and de la Rosa can't agree with this after the incident during the Monaco qualifying session. The German parked his car in Rascasse and hindered the other drivers who were on their flying lap. Villeneuve and de la Rosa earlier declared that Schumi's move was a disgrace for the world of F1.
