Montoya out, Hamilton in?
Montoya will not be racing for McLaren Mercedes next season. This is the newest rumour in the F1 paddock. Fernando Alonso already announced, before the beginning of the season, that he would move to McLaren in 2007.
Montoya has been racing for McLaren for two years now and the Colombian would lose his race seat next season. This would be good news for Lewis Hamilton.
Hamilton, who races in the GP2 this season, was praised by Ron Dennis during the Monaco Grand Prix. Dennis declared that there was no doubt that Hamilton would be in F1 soon and now it seems that with 'soon' Dennis meant 2007.
What will happen to Montoya isn't sure yet. Montoya has been linked with Red Bull, Renault and Toyota. Team mate Kimi Raikkonen has been linked with Ferrari and Renault.
