F1 goes back to Indy in 2007

Formula One will return to Indianapolis in 2007. Yesterday, Bernie Ecclestone and the Inianapolis Motor Speedway came to an agreement. The contract has been extended with only one year. The one-year extension with the US track was signed because the sport's organizational structure, known as the Concorde Agreement, is good only through next year.

Tony George "It seemed appropriate to see how things shake out and see what the lay of the land is. There are too many unanswered questions to commit any longer than that. But our intention is to be long term with Formula 1."
