Hakkinen takes the wheel of the MP4-21
After a lot of speculation, the McLaren Mercedes team yesterday announced that Mika Hakkinen, the two time World Champion, would get behind the wheel of the MP4-21 at Barcelona. The 38-year-old Finn, who hadn't been behind the wheel of a Formula One car since the Japanese Grand Prix in 2001, started the day with some installation laps before getting to his test programme for today.
