There's more to come - Vettel
So far, Sebastian Vettel's career has been picture-perfect. Just 19 years old, he is already the BMW Sauber F1 Team's official test and reserve driver, thus being a vital member of the squad. However, the young gun doesn't regard this success as an excuse to rest on his laurels.
Following his successes in karting, Sebastian started his single-seater racing career in 2003. In only his second season of Formula BMW Germany he dominated the field, winning 18 of the season's 20 races. In his debut appearance as BMW Sauber F1 Team Friday tester in 2006, he once again succeeded in delivering fine from the outset.
However, Sebastian's assesment of what he has achieved so far is a realistic one and he isn't satisfied with his current achievements. He wants to keep working hard on his future. "It's true, I've achieved a lot for my age," says Vettel "and I'm proud of it. But there's more to come. I still have goals to be achieved. That's what I'm focusing on completely. I'm not ready to let the things happening around me have an impact on me."
On his way to becoming a successful Formula One driver, Sebastian is determined to remain a natural and relaxed guy, arrogance isn't part of his vocabulary: He says: "In any event, there's no reason to get bigheaded. I think it's a question of the type of guy you are."
