Alonso pleased with work done so far
The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Team and Fernando Alonso finished testing at the Circuit of Jerez at Spain yesterday. Following the three-day test session, the double World Champion seemed pleased with the work done so far.
Fernando Alonso"So far things have been going well but there is still a lot of work to do. We have been topping the testing time sheets on a number of occasions so far but you have to take into account what programmes the other teams are doing so really times doesn't mean that much. We have lots of testing in Barcelona and Bahrain where we will continue to develop the car as there will be a lot of updates coming during the next couple of weeks. Overall I really like the car but there are things which we can do to make it better which is why we go testing. The atmosphere within the team is great and we are all working hard."
