Button and Barrichello in action for Honda at Bahrain
The Honda Racing F1 Team began a three-day test at the Bahrain International Circuit yesterday, the first of two final tests before the Formula One season begins in Melbourne with the Australian Grand Prix on 18 March.
Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello will be conducting the test programme for the team this week.
Jenson gave the new chassis RA107-04 its first outing this morning. After some initial set-up work, he completed an intensive aero programme, alongside some new tyre runs. Jenson completed 84 laps today.
Rubens concentrated on finding a good set-up in chassis RA107-01, before completing long tyre runs over a race distance as he evaluated the two tyre tyres supplied by Bridgestone. Rubens completed 102 laps.
