Ferrari files complaint against Stepney
The Scuderia Ferrari has filed a complaint against employee Nigel Stepney. The team didn't want to give any comment on the nature of the complaint, but the Briton is in the center of an investigation by the Modena district attorney in Italy.
Stepney moved to Ferrari from Benetton ten years ago and is responsible for team performance development at Ferrari, having been the team's race and test technical manager until earlier this year. The Briton got the new position after being unhappy at the technical department following the departure of Ross Brawn. His request for a sabbatical this year was declined and Stepney was given a factory-based role.
Earlier this year, two former Ferrari employees were found guilty of taking team secrets to Toyota.
Stepney has been linked with Honda for some time now.
