We should do more drug testing - Webber
Mark Webber, the director of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association, wants more drug testing in Formula One. Today, Anthony Davidson, Rubens Barrichello, Robert Kubica, Tonio Liuzzi, Kimi Raikkonen and Nico Rosberg had to provide a urine sample for a drug test today at Magny-Cours. According to Webber, the FIA should test the drivers more regularly.
The Australian Red Bull driver said: "I think we should do a lot of it. If we rave on about how awesomely fit the drivers are, why don't we do proper tests like that in every other sport?"
"The FIA says it's too expensive, but what a load of bullshit! How can it be too expensive in this game? If they can do it for a bloke jumping into a sandpit, how come they can't do it in F1? We should do more of it."
