Nelsinho turns down Spyker F1 seat

Nelson Piquet Jr. has turned down the offer of Spyker F1 to replace Christijan Albers for the rest of the season. The Brazilian test and reserve driver of Renault told 'Motor und Sport' that his father urged him to jump at the chance to race in F1, but still Nelsinho turned down the opportunity as he's waiting for a more competitive ride.

Nelson Piquet Jr. said: "With that car you could only lose. It is clearly difficult to drive, and Sutil knows it off by heart already. I would be last until I caught up to his experience level. In the meantime my market value could be destroyed, because unfortunately in this game, the people are very short-sighted."
