Second chicane of Monza modified
After a long-standing protest of the 'Grand Prix Drivers Association', the gravel trap at the second chicane of the Autodromo Nazionale has been asphalted. The request of the GPDA dates back to 2000 when one of the marshals was killed during a car pile up. The safety pleas of the drivers association have been ignored for the last couple of years until they threatened to boycott Monza last September.
The chicane was modified in time for the three-day test session that kicked-off today.
