I'm not going to quit - Dennis
Ron Dennis insists he will not quit as Team Boss of the McLaren Mercedes Team. In the British newspaper 'News of the World', Dennis acknowledges that a lot of people want him to retire after the humiliating apology to the sport last week, but he insist that he will not be quiting.
Ron Dennis said: "I'm not going to quit. That is 100 per cent. I know there are people out there who want me to retire, but I'm not. I do not think it would be in the best interests of the team."
Star driver of the team, Lewis Hamilton, still supports his boss saying: "I have got every faith in the team and in Ron. I just hope we can all put this behind us now and concentrate on the fight on the track. I am just a racer. The politics has sucked this year. I don't like to get involved in it but, unfortunately, you are dragged into it. That comes with the whole game and you just have to deal with it in the best way you can.
"Hopefully, next year we will have a much smoother year and can have fun. I am counting down the days until the first race. I've got a new team-mate in Heikki Kovalainen and we're going to do our best to win the championship for McLaren next year. We want to do our talking on the track."
