Abu Dhabi GP signs Etihad as title sponsor
Etihad Airways, the sponsor of the Force India Formula One Team, has signed a seven-figure contract as title sponsor of the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix. The company announced that the deal is for three years. The first Abu Dhabi GP at the island of Yas will be held in 2009.
Bernie Ecclestone said: "Securing a title sponsor of this calibre two years out from the first event is further reinforcement that the region is full of excitement and anticipation for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix."
