F1 car made of matches

Michael Arndt, a passionate F1 fan from Hannover, Germany, has made a copy of the McLaren MP4-14 in matches. Arndt needed 956.000 matches, six years and €6.000 to complete the car in which Mika Hakkinen won the 1999 championship crown.
Arndt said: "It has cost me a lot of time to build this car, but I remained patient. I have put the matches ten rows thick on several places and so the car is solid enough to sit in it."
