Super Aguri saved by mystery investor?

According to the German magazine 'Auto Motor und Sport', the Super Aguri F1 Team has been saved by a mystery investor. According to the magazine, the deal, believed to be headed by a British company, a Middle Eastern sponsor and possibly some German involvement, could be confirmed later this week.

Takuma Sato will reportedly, remain in his cockpit for the upcoming season and for 2009. In 2008, Anthony Davidson will remain his team mate.

According to 'Auto Motor und Sport', Aguri Suzuki has relinquished his shareholding in the team, but he will remain team boss.

Just like the other Formula One teams, Super Aguri is preparing the journey to Melbourne for the season opener next week.
