Bernard Cahier passed away at age 81
Bernard Cahier has passed away at the age of 81. Cahier was one of the leading photojournalists in the history of Formula One and started his career in 1952. In 1968 he was one of the founders of the International Racing Press Association (IRPA) which began the process of organising the media in F1.
During his long-time career, Cahier developed friendships with the leading stars of Formula One such as Manuel Fangio, Stirling Moss, Jackie Stewart, Emerson Fittipaldi and many others.
