I don't think you realize how tight the chicane really is. Giving the space isn't reasonably possible, especially not when the attacker isn't even ahead.
Max let himself get pushed on the sausage. He should have conceded, like any rational thinking driver would. He pushed Max into the sausage kerb & didn't leave any width when Max was alongside.
And that's just rather childish to claim. It is a pattern which is going on since Silverstone. Hamilton will resort to any dirty act much like Abu Dhabhi 2016 !
Yeah, happy to call it a racing incident, and MAx entitled to the room, why was Lewis not entitled to room on lap 1.El Scorchio wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 17:03Horner deflecting and stuttering over his words. He knows what went on.

Painful listening to him squirmEl Scorchio wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 17:05Given his extraordinary rhetoric after Silverstone, this is pretty cringey stuff.
Agree. I mean. Ves overtake was ambitious, but so was Ham defense on cold tires coming out of the pits. If it was against anyone else probably they would not have gone for the moves they made. Hamilton would have yielded and Ves would not have tried it.LHamilton wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 16:39In regards to the Lewis - Max incident; Similar to Silverstone in that it was probably a racing incident with Max this time being slightly at fault. Max was very ambitious in the same way Lewis was ambitious in Silverstone. And when they are racing as they are, nobody is gonna back down and thus the more ambitious one tends to lose out. We saw that in turn 4 on lap 1 this race where Lewis tried to go around the outside but backed out. So if there is consistency, then perhaps a grid penalty for Max. I would give the smallest amount probably, so a 3 grid place penalty (which I think is the lowest amount.).
Devoid of logic. Hamilton had a cars width in Silverstone & was comfortably a full car length behind. And he still chose to ignore the apex & took the middle line & crashed into Max @ close to 300km/hour.
I do not have the Sky feed, so I feel bad for missing out the after race talks. I'm watching the live Post Race video from the F1 YT channel now.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 17:05Horner trying to make it a racing incident. So he knows Max was wrong.
