There were physical waved flags but apparently nothing on the electronic system. I assume that plays a role in whether or not you get summoned to the stewards unless someone reports you.

They yellow lights on Max steering wheel are those gear change or yellow flags?
Cause he did have those.

It's a good thing it was one of the Red Bull stable that caused the flag not a Merc engine, or there would be another hundred pages here and Horned getting every interview he can

I clearly said in my post that it was single waved, you even quoted it before, ands it matter not whether it is single or double waved, on track hazards are on track hazards, thus one must slow down. Whether it is single waved or double waved, the driver is meant to slow down. Alonso, who was infornt of Bottas was told by his team to abort the lap and slow down, Bottas decided otherwise.

I did not see the double yellows. As much as I would like Max to race from 5 places behind.
Did race control remove the yellows before Max and Bottas got there?

He will not lose his lap if he broke the rules. He will get a 5 place penalty, as it is a safety breach, not so much a sporting breach. Bottas may be okay, as he crossed after when the flags would have been down?

But I am starting to see the bias more blatantly now. That session should have been double yellowed till the end.

As for Hamilton's lap, it is suprising some fans, becuase they either forget or they have not been watching Hamilton before mercedes. Since Mclaren days he has been working magic in the mickey mousey sectors around the circuits.
I think something awoke in him in Brazil and he he showing the aggressive Hamilton of old.
He kept that lap up his sleeve for the last minute and is simply operating on the raged edge like Max does each weekend. Looks like the conservative smooth clinician approach has taken a back seat and Hamilton is smelling blood, it's do or die now.
I do not think the Mercedes is 4 tenths quicker over a lap. Right now its about 1 tenth to Max in race pace or even less. That lap was just Hamilton. The car does not have any engine or wing advantage. Just setup and Hamilton back to his old self. Max will come back at him in the race.

You can literally see them when Verstappen goes past. The same stewards station isn’t showing them when Bottas does. Remember Bottas came through before Verstappen.

Are you trolling or you just chose not to see clear as day what is in the video?. Anybody can see that the yellow flag is out by the marshal post to the top left on the onboard footage from Bottas

Yeah because social media is where the rules are made.

Agree 100% it's not. Just that if it is rarely discussed in the media then it will be even less so around the paddock.

Definitely, I'd be more than happy with that. The championship is not looking close anyway, if Gasly and Alonso start P2 and P3 then there is a chance FOM will show them more on global broadcast as they fight each other rather than showing Mercededs or RedBull.

Thanks for the compliment. Also, It's being waved dude, did you watch the session on some illegal stream or something?. It's so clear on the onboard plus there is a track hazard right there and even Alonso ahead of him still slowed down.

Top left, yellow LED on the steering wheel, right ? Open and shut case. What is the usual penalty for this ?
