Red Bull moral principles are pretty low. Full of Hocus Pocus.

Yep and my jaw almost hit the floor.
I'm sure the Marshals who might have been on track when he blindly ploughed around the last corner are thinking the same about Verstappen.

Mercedes... In a race where you need to maximise everything. They've cost huge team points and even lewis one point swing.
Am i missing something??? Why run Bottas for more laps on the medium than he would have needed to do on the hards to get to the end? Even going for a one stop. Did they just forget he was in the race? They have been subpar for a long time strategy wise but today was absolutely ridiculous. A real brain fart.

Redbull would drive rings round them on strategy.
To be fair I think the problem is Bottas more than the team. Sure they kept him out too long (in hindsight) but his drive in the race was also pathetic.

Also, Mercedes won the race and very easily. So they have done some things right.
I was talking re strategy. Fortunately for them they seem to have remembered again how to make their car fastest. But today they totally messed themselves up.
Yes there were good results with Lewis performing really well. But surely 6 points from a weekend like this is a letdown.

Did he say it sarcastically and with a smile?
He had a mask on but I didn’t detect any kind of joking he honestly sees it like that.

I did really like what Verstappen said at the very end though. "Racing isn't very complicated. It has a brake pedal, a throttle pedal and a steering wheel. Everything else is just a show."

Thks! I guess that was the reason Alo and Ocon were being told to avoid the kerbs!

Wow, again after Sotschi this doesnt feel like a win somehow.
This Verstappen guy will never get punished by penalties... except Bottas could play some Bowling again.
Weird comment when Hamilton got disqualified and yet still won the race a week ago. :wtf:

I think the penalties were okay. The Toror Rosso stepped aside for Max too. But the pace of the redbull even with Perez made it inevitable for those cars to podium. Perez moved up really nicely and Max moved up very easily.

I was very suspicious of the vritual safety car at the end. Hamilton's race engineer need to stop letting the cat out of the bag. I just new they were going to do something to prevent him from getting that fastest lap point.

But had Bottas pit earlier, Mercedes would have been able to neutralize it going to Max.

Anyhow it was a good race. Cars are still about equal. The gap held at around 8 seconds throughout and redbull race pace was mighty as expected. The next two races will be even more thrilling.
Bottas needs to perform! he cannot keep losing places in the first lap like usual.
Perez is doing a great job as wing man at redbull.
For Sure!!

And Horner to the stewards office… I’m not sure you can get any more embarassing than that man.

Leaders don't blame innocent volunteers who risk their lives to enable the very sport that pays their wages. Especially when the fault is very clearly their own (or their responsibility).

Cowards do that.

Hats off to Ferrari, they have been getting double points consistently with their two drivers. Mclaren are no match for them at the moment. Mclaren started off the stronger of the two teams, but fell away in the second half.
Alpine also did very well with Ocon and Alonso putting in super drives.
For Sure!!

Helmet Marko in trouble as well maybe for more extreme comments than Horner.

I think the FIA have just had enough of the pair of them. Horner is now apologising for what he said. It was due to the Sky interview earlier.

Apparently Hamilton did not use the new ‘Brazil spec’ engine today.
