The last 5 minutes could be carnage. Looks like everyone is just going to get faster and faster. Timing may be everything

Would've never imagine a track with 27 corners would end up with cars being this close in top 10. Wow

BREAKING
No further action for double yellows

Andrew Benson

BBC Sport’s chief F1 writer

No further action on Hamilton for the alleged double waved yellows - "on-board video clearly shows there was no yellow flag displayed, no yellow lights were displayed to that driver and the yellow warning light was not visible on the driver’s steering wheel."

Still waiting for a verdict on the Nikita Mazepin incident.

I wonder how long until we will have a decision?

but the yellows were for the car that went off the track in T9 to avoid impeding Hamilton. Tsunoda. I doubt you can penalize for that even if the yellow flag was only symbolic.
What? Yellow flag = yellow flag. You lift. Slam dunk penalty. It's not "symbolic". Didnt we have the same thing with VER last qualy? But FIA wants to keep the championship open it seems.

Then also blocking cars in fp3... Is HAM losing his nerves? Or is it too much information to process for him with the high speed track, tight walls and keeping eyes on the mirrors and flags.

Maybe it will be close after all.
I haven't seen the incident so I will not judge too strongly, but if it is indeed the case that he did pass a flag it should have been a penalty. No excuses, max didn't get cut any slack in an unclear situation either.
AFAIK he didn't pass a flag.

Also any Alpha Tauri in Q3 will be a huge surprise.
how? Gasly is on fire it seems.
True but Q2 will be brutal, the Alpine and Alfa Romeo are also looking fast. Also, Vettel always conjures something...So interesting! The suspense is eating me alive.

Should be a reprimand. Sadly, he will get away with it.

Get away with time? Do explain why LH should and others not,,
He didn't do anything wrong though in this instance.
That is my point.

Tell me you haven’t seen the footage without telling me you haven’t seen the footage.
I just watched, he was clearly passing a flashing yellow sign. If Max was at fault even while the lights were not flashing, than surely Hamilton was at fault here. Pretty ridiculous.

Penalize those drivers at T27, that's just silly.

A reprimand. And team is at fault now apparantly as they only gave HAM10 seconds notice of cars approaching. 10 seconds. Fined to pay$ 25.000.

A reprimand, so cases closed, lets enjoy racing now.
