It would have been a VSC for about 20 seconds if that.jz11 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 15:25VSC with quali fuel loads?!? think about what you're sayingEl Scorchio wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 15:12Oh come on. Red flag for that? Just bloody VSC it. It’ll take moments to pick that up and just replace it at the end of the session.
It was a bit strange we didn’t even see a replay. Maybe the stewards couldn’t see it either.KeiKo403 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 15:27I've just re-winded back to Verstappens first flying lap in Q1, I'm pretty sure that was all 4 wheels across the line. Not sure how to share though so hopefully someone with the skills can. I know it doesn't matter now but just weird how it wasn't automatically deleted or looked at (or shown on a replay!)
Hmmmm…. Yes that is interesting if anyone has an angle to show all four wheels off the track. I wonder if they were waiting and hoping he’d pop in a faster lap so they didn’t have to confront the issue- IF he didn’t keep it in bounds.KeiKo403 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 15:27I've just re-winded back to Verstappens first flying lap in Q1, I'm pretty sure that was all 4 wheels across the line. Yeah he's almost 3 tenths slower in S3 on that lap than bottas.NathanOlder wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 15:32Lewis just lost big time to Bottas in S3, looked like a slide in turn 13
I think Lewis would have been 4 tenths clear if he hadn't messed up S3. He lost around 3 tenths to Bottas when you would expect him to be faster than Bottas.
As I understand it, they will be able to replace those in parc ferme, it will be considered as damaged.
