I just don’t see how they make the tyre last for a one stop at all. Especially if they are running low downforce.

They must just be gambling it all on getting ahead on the track

Wow. Perez completely sacrificed himself for Verstappen.

Just as I expected Max has gone for softs at the start tomorrow. This will be interesting. First corner collisions possible late race drama with Max either desperately trying to defend with worn tyres...more collisions possible.....or chasing on fresh rubber after soft/medium/soft two stopper.
Also Perez possibly coming into the mix as a blocker with any number of tyre change options possible, jeopardising his overall finish but perhaps slowing Lewis down at some point.

Lockup intentional?
Yeah, he intentionally --- up his tires.

Geez, man.
Listen to Horner talk right now!

Would be easy for them to go out on the mediums the 1st time, To get Mercedes to commit to mediums. Then you just have an innocent lock up so that you can switch to softs, thus Mercedes has to choose.

If I were Mercedes I’d let max have pole. It would be much safer.

Wow, this is looking interesting! just flipped on its head. I wonder if RedBull regret the soft Q2 tyre now.

What did Ham do in Q2? Is 22.6 his fastest?

Genius from RB there. Maybe should have saved it for the last run though as I suspect Merc will put Bottas out ahead of him

I think it’s a blessing in disguise for Mercedes to have Hamilton start behind Verstappen. They should probably aim for P2/3.

Red Bull are betting on a safety car, it's the only way the 2 stop can work tomorrow. It will be under the spot light it gets triggered by an AT...

Smart thing for Ham and Merc is let Max have pole. Follow him close till first pit then build a gap before pitting for hards and coming out ahead of Max. If Max pits again for softs at the end it could be fun.
