This feels like a massive gamble from RB. It’s all set up beautifully for tomorrow!

So before today, Merecedes had a huge qualifying advantage and Red Bull had better race pace. Now Red Bull have the front row... yeah I know where I am placing my bet for tomorrow.
Mercedes?

So RB were comfortably faster when all was said and done. Merc looked to be keeping their powder dry, but RB did it even more; much more in fact.

Bottas only P6, what a huge upset for Mercedes. They are massively on the backfoot going in to tomorrow, Hamilton now has to race two Red Bulls. They could just pit Perez super early and bring him in to Hamilton's pit window.

Mercedes really drop the ball there Jesus Christ
No way. One of the only ways for Max to win it was a first lap DNF with Lewis where it will just be called a racing incident.

Max can now safely fly up the road for 10 laps. At which point the tides will turn and it’s all advantage Lewis for the easy win.

I bet Mercedes is way quicker. It won't be a problem to overtake Verstappen on the race.

Can the Dutch fans shut it with the booing please. Makes me feel ashamed of my country.

Red Bull are betting on a safety car, it's the only way the 2 stop can work tomorrow. It will be under the spot light it gets triggered by an AT...
Could you just enjoy qualifying instead of speculating on some ludicrous conspiracy in advance? It is getting extremely annyoing now from many people here.
You could just ignore comments you don't like.... People are allowed to share their opinions.

idk if Mercedes was indeed on the mediums while RBR was on the softs than it’s all to play for.

It’ll be interesting to see what the correct approach is tomorrow…

Bottas being utterly useless as always - good riddance.

Interesting RB with the tiny rear wing and softs vs merc higher df and softs.

I'd guess ham just sits behind ver until he pits then puts his foot down to try and build a gap and try to overcut?
That works as long as he can protect his tyres (we all know that he is capable of that), but that is totally dictated by the pace of those immediately behind him.

What reaction do you (all) think that there would be if MV drives just fast enough to keep LH behind, but slow enough to keep the rest of the field close? Just like LH did with Rosberg (I think that was Abu Dhabi too, in Rosberg’s WDC year, 2016). I remember Rosberg on the radio fuming to the team about it.
Perspective - Understanding that sometimes the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.

Huge smile from Lewis “I can now see where he is”

This sums it up perfectly. Max p1 is utterly amazing for Lewis as it takes away that DNF lunge.
