Acknowledging it was wrong doesn't make Verstappen any less of a Champion.
Have a look through any major social media outlet, and you will see Many max fans aggressively attacking anyone suggesting Massi's actions were anything but kosher. My assumption, is that they can't handle the idea that Max only won the championship because of outside intervention.
You mean just like Hammy fans that can’t handle the fact their boy can only win in cars that are obscenely faster than the rest of the field?

Get over yourself Dan. Seriously.
What this season shows is that Lewis was very well going to win the championship with a car which was slower/equal in performance: according to redbull's own cheif designer. And if we apply ur logic here then this season also shows that Max even with a faster car cant win the championship without the help of FIA changes rules on the fly to make him win...
Just imagine if Masi did everything according to rule? That would have killed Max's career!

Adrian Newey for one. He said the Red Bull was the best car for most of the season.
.
So Adrian Newey = most people?

When did Newey said that and where can I find that? I googled but couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance.

This was taken from an interview with Sky after AD. I remember seeing it live, myself.
Yup, i remember seeing this live

All season long you had people proclaiming Lewis could only win with a car that was substantially faster than the rest of the field.
 ??? Where did you read that? I never read that and it isn't true.
I can pm you links if you like (just let me know), but the moderation staff would take a dim view on me calling out specific users publically.

99.99% of the f1 fanbase and f1 expert (except some max fans) agree what he did was not right and the fia acknowledges this, hence the investigation!
Nonsense... I'm one of those who think he acted correctly at the time...
So? You are in the 0.01%
Verstappen was voted by 14.4% of fans as their favourite driver, and ranked in the top three drivers among one-third of F1 fans.

Max deserved that with the season he had... but what happened is unfortunate that there will an asterisk on his championship forever!
What asterisk? No doping. No cheating. He is the legitimate champion.

No this season showed that Lewis was very close to being lucky to win the championship after his team destroyed Max's car twice and once by Pirelli for a total of 26+18+16 points.

Many people believe it has an asterisks, because without Masi's intervention Max would have finished second in the race and the championship!

Considering that Max was denied 60pts from Baku, Silverstone, and Hungary, Max was due some luck. For Hamilton and Mercedes, I pretty much sum it up with one word: Karma.

you seem to have forgotten about Italy & saudi arabia. In both cases Max is very lucky the penalties he got weren't more severe. Not to mention Spa where he was gifted a win for a race that never actually took place. Imo, Kamra more than balance itself out!

Well, it’s down to opinion who was responsible for wrecking his car on one of those occasions. And Max destroyed a Mercedes in Monza as well.

What this season actually showed was Max was more lucky than Lewis where it really counts: you need a car that works great, not just a fast one, and a more dependable engine.

The regs changed the floors significantly last season, and They landed Max’s way completely. For Lewis on the other hand, it destroyed his car and gave the Mercedes team the same headaches Red bull had with their car in 2020, except the red bull team just made a poor car that year. ‘21? the regs destroyed what was a great car in the Mercedes. That was very lucky to be in that position.

Max had a title winning engine also, Hamilton was unlucky to be in a weaker position with the engine being a liability that year costing him grid penalties where it didn’t for verstappen, costing him performance when no longer fresh.

The RB was so effective under these new regs, they had enough floor downforce and balance in hand to run less wing but still have plenty downforce left to be competitive in cornering. The Mercedes’ needed Monaco wings to balance their rear aero.

It’s not like Max had no luck in all the other variables that go your way for a good weekend outcome. His car adapted better to weather variables almost every time. When he really needed some luck in Russia, he got it. When he was vulnerable to losing ground to lewis in Turkey, the weather and a grid penalty went against lewis completely and Max actually finished ahead in a weekend where the Mercedes’ was easily favourite to win. Spa was another example where weather hampered the Mercedes weekend as we know it struggles with tyre temperature in tricky conditions especially. Max got the pole, and a free win behind a safety car  before again being given a championship deciding race win behind another safety car because of illegitimate race authoring by a wholly incompetent race director.

is this genuine? It wouldn’t surprise me. I called this out earlier in the season, it came to a head in Brazil with that “that’s all about letting them race”. Wheatley had Jedi mind trick level influence on Masi at times.

I think it started after Wheatley embarrassed him a little bit in Spa about Sergio rejoining the race.

The highlight of their cringey inappropriate dynamic:

Masi: Thankyou for your input Jonathan.
JW: thankyou for your receiving it.
Masi: my pleasure.
