Come on JaF - it was an inquiry about the logical consistency of one's positions - much like a photo of Tracht was.

It was unanimously supported by F1 CEO and teams principals.
I would not have given you the opportunity Wouter, but someone already beat me to it, tooWouter wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 17:15.mafeotul wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 16:47Eagerly awaiting the Shampion’s supporters to outline, again nothing was wrong and Masi is taking a holiday, as he was abused by the bad people at Mercedes.
Obviously no race result will be turned, and the The Frog Eyed Bumper Car World Shampion will keep his tainted 1 spot. At least something, no matter as minute has been done. Interesting choice of timing, as well.

I saw this was already reported. Otherwise I would have.
so what do you think all this means? I find it confusing. some people say he should stay on. but the report says team principles and CEO of F1 were unanimous in supporting these changes.Wouter wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 17:15.mafeotul wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 16:47Eagerly awaiting the Shampion’s supporters to outline, again nothing was wrong and Masi is taking a holiday, as he was abused by the bad people at Mercedes.

like i mentioned elsewhere, even if you ignore all of the the 2021 season, numerous incidents pointed to him not being able to do the job properly!AeroDynamic wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 17:21so what do you think all this means? Maybe it was the only way to get Freitas on board… The challenge for F1 is now the amount of races, not everyone wants a “job” that keeps you away from home as long as F1 does during a season… The alternating part screams to me that someone didn’t want to be at every race.RZS10 wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 15:36So it's the DTM race director, who was already offered a position as deputy race director by the FIA in November and who was heavily criticized for his decision making in DTM, Freitas from WEC who did an alright job from what i know and Herbie Blash who was already Whiting's deputy race director.
Having watched DTM i really don't know if that guy is an upgrade.
I think people miss-understand the race directors role, he can refer drivers to stewards, however stewards can also investigate on their own
Yes, if we maintain old-thinking on the matter. I however, do not believe the current structure is the best it can be. There’s too much money at play and too many invested for 1 to be at the head. So rather than limit ourselves into fitting solutions into an existing structure, a rethink of the entirety might be better. A council of 3 at the top who can refer to ‘stewards’ or another body to me is a better. I don’t like it still being under 1 persons directorship.the EDGE wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 18:26I think people miss-understand the race directors role, he can refer drivers to stewards, however stewards can also investigate on their own
The race directors role is to ensure the race runs, correctly & safely, as per the rules, so no need for a three ‘person’ council, but definitely the need for some assistance!
Amazing how good you people are at interpreting things to fit your own bias.AeroDynamic wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 15:28Sorry for those in denial, but the FIA recognise he did do something wrong, maybe Masi knows it too.
Reality has crept in
Not just the 2021 season, he has screwed up multiple times a season since he started!
