Mirror arms are also much less shapely than the launch car.
Front wing maybe leaning towards Ferrari shape?
It's curious that physical parts that time & money went into manufacturing would change so much in the space of weeks.
Does that suggest that it is
genuinely a decision of weeks ago that McLaren decided to change the shape of the front wing, and earlier versions of the car were indeed developed based on airflow coming off the other, quite different, front wing? To make such a big front wing shape change at a late stage can't be optimal can it? Unless it provided
such a big gain both immediately and looking towards future development?
What happens to the launch front wing & launch mirrors? Relegated to the 'old parts' bin for building show cars already?
Edit - My bad, it
is indeed the same wing.
It just looks different because of the angle of the photograph.
