Pretty good side on comparison photo

Do I notice a bit of rake on the Alpha Tauri?

But all I've done is present what I believe to be the facts in chronological order. Please don't take that to think I actually like the situation. I (think) understand what has happened, that's all.
But the ire here is to do so, and pretend that it only ever really was one test and that Barca is this oddball/extra test when the reality is that Barca and two sets of testing is the norm. Is it a fact that there only ever was one test, or are we creating facts to fit with the party line? I think the latter is why people are criticising.
I wasn't pretending and since you pointed this out I did go to review the original 2022 sporting regs (v1) and that also mentions 2 tests. I apologise for propogating this, I'm sure I'd read it somewhere credible before though.
Apologies, the 'pretending' comment was not clear but I was more aimed at FOM than you folks

Ferrari looking quick in slower sectors.. good aero working? or tyres working well for them?

I appreciate your point but everyone is going so slowly that the times are just irrelevant right now.

For example I remember thinking they looked great in low speed in 2019 initially - then everyone else turned up and blasted them in sector 3. Last day, let’s reconvene. Imo

And you think they have remained stagnant since 2019, I am new here buy some of the experts opinions sometimes reads illogical. Just like Mercedes found the magic bullet in 2014, any team can also in 2022.

Max was 16kph down on Leclerc in sector 2 and on harder tyres for the 80 laps

Looking at race lap times in 2021, they may have been concentrating on tyre performance as they had cameras and sensors on the car. If Max kept these times up, he would have been matching 2021 performance on race trim

I’m not suggesting they’ve remained stagnant, I’m saying nobody knows.

An interesting comparison would be sector times so far against race sector times from last years race. Anyone able to black magic that up? I wouldn’t even know where to look

do anyone has max speed data from any site ? I've read that these cars will be faster at straights and slower at corners so I wonder if they already had better max speeds. It is just first day but I think this is one of the difference we will look at.
