I don't know if Fittipaldi is allowed to race after Mick has already taken part in Qualifying.

Also I'm quite a bit worried about the lack of updates on Mick. Reminds me of an accident in Imola 1994.
Mick took off his gloves and was talking to the medical guy. So his brain is OK for now at least.

Starting from the pit lane is probably a smart idea on this track, guaranteed to be a safety car or yellow flag early on….

HAM was 9 tenths per lap slower than RUS on both same soft and medium tyre in that Q1 qualy session. He said on Sky interview that this was down to choosing another setup route than RUS... Presumably he was opting for a kinder tyre setup based on the lesson learned in Bahrein, thus he didn't have enough grip coz the tyres have had lower temps than the optimal operation window...

And that should be the obvious reason why he didn't pit for new soft tyres like RUS did: he did multiples laps just to warm up the rear tyres!

I'm surprised no video of the crash.

Can we stop talking about Mick for now, instead of speculating crazy stuff? It's better to wait for further updates and hopefully is absolutely ok. Once we hear him talk, we can say what we want. Please.

Nothing to loose if the setup isn't there. No idea what they'd try as they seem to have done last ditch efforts for this week with a cut down wing.
But FP3 was fine. Maybe they changed something heading to Q?
They must have done, he only managed to go just over a tenth quicker than his fp3 time

Worth it. Very likely to get a SC at some point in the race.

Just reporting what is being said online/ TV. I see no issues with this.

Onboard comparisons between Jorge and Lewis, showing LH loosing to Jorge in the corners. Significantly struggling more to control the car in corners.

I really don't get Mercedes. Sure, when you are in no man's land you are more inclined to do something extreme, but I have no idea how you can drop the ball so hard.

George.

Why do you keep calling him Jorge with Spanish spelling? :) :P

It took me a bit to work out who you meant at first, lol. :)
