Max Verstappen has won the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix following a very close battle with Ferrari's Charles Lerclec. It was only 4 laps from the end that Verstappen got the upper hand, leaving Ferrari to take second and third on the podium as Sainz finished third.
HAM was 9 tenths per lap slower than RUS on both same soft and medium tyre in that Q1 qualy session. He said on Sky interview that this was down to choosing another setup route than RUS... Presumably he was opting for a kinder tyre setup based on the lesson learned in Bahrein, thus he didn't have enough grip coz the tyres have had lower temps than the optimal operation window...
And that should be the obvious reason why he didn't pit for new soft tyres like RUS did: he did multiples laps just to warm up the rear tyres!

Can we stop talking about Mick for now, instead of speculating crazy stuff? It's better to wait for further updates and hopefully is absolutely ok. Once we hear him talk, we can say what we want. Please.
Worth it. Very likely to get a SC at some point in the race.
Education is that which allows a nation free, independent, reputable life, and function as a high society; or it condemns it to captivity and poverty.

Just reporting what is being said online/ TV. I see no issues with this.
Nothing to loose if the setup isn't there. No idea what they'd try as they seem to have done last ditch efforts for this week with a cut down wing.
But FP3 was fine. Maybe they changed something heading to Q?
They must have done, he only managed to go just over a tenth quicker than his fp3 time
I really don't get Mercedes. Sure, when you are in no man's land you are more inclined to do something extreme, but I have no idea how you can drop the ball so hard.
