I think ferrari was cruising a bit more than yesterday. 331 km/h at the end back straight compared to 341 km/h for red bull. Yesterday difference wasn't as big, around 4-5 kmh.

Haas was very fast on the last sector, I think Ferrari turned down the engine a lot more

FP3 top 3 telemetry:

Image

* LEC setting the lap on 12 lap old soft tyres vs 3 lap old for VER and 6 old for PER.
* Timing of gear shifts are as one would expect, so I think the drivers aren't messing around too much.
* LEC clearly had lower grip in the technical section as he needed a couple of corrections and even though he was more on the throttle he had lower speeds, so he was probably trying to steer the car through that section.
* PER and VER had a big speed advantage, especially Perez at 342km/h
* LEC is from another planet while braking, and in the fast corners.
* I won't bet on this, but I think there's more to the Ferrari in acceleration because they have lower RPMs out of T8.

Ferrari may also have lower acceleration due to old tyres. Lec shifts to 3rd in T17 to avoid wheel spin much earlier than he shifts to 4th compared to the other 2.

When have you ever seen Toto speak during sessions? Aint he about the only principle that doesnt?
I never mentioned ToTo, we have about 10 other team leaders, but all we get is just Horner, don’t make out that it is mixed cause it isn’t, it is 90% Horner.
Get Seidel, Otmar is commonly on, Guenther makes an appearance, same with Binotto, Dont think you see anything from the others.

When did you last see Vasseur, Jost Capito, Mike Krack, Franz Tost, Toto Wollf ever speak from the pitwall/garage during a session?
They speak to Sky during the live feed because of contractual reasons.
No money no Toto!

Sliding too much, everywhere. Their operating window is tiny as an additional problem aside from porpoising.

Very impressive from Norris!

The onboard shows Norris in total control of the car, very positive steering inputs and on the throttle so early. =D> =D>

W13 is like the W03. Narrow operating window and "innovative design cues". Merc spent all of'12 trying to figure out tyre issue and they still had that issue going into '13

Sainz should really get back to the drawing board. Keeps crashing, and when he keeps on track, he often impedes others... and gets spanked by Leclerc in the process.

Well not really Mclaren is 0.5s back atm. If Imola was indicator.
