So you seem to acknowledge that basing any conclusions on FP1 is silly, yet you're doing it anyways, and telling us we're not allowed to bring up to you how basing conclusions on FP1 is silly. lolJPBD1990 wrote: ↑20 May 2022, 14:47I know it’s FP1 and all the usual caveats apply (before people feel it necessary to point that out and ridiculing me for having an opinion)… I also note that Ferrari are currently 1-2 in the timings.
For me, I sense redbull are faster this weekend. Max obliterated the Ferrari’s on the hards, and got severely hampered on his soft run due to traffic.
Just a gut feeling. It was right in Australia, Imola and Miami. Let’s see! I’m a Ferrari fan so I’m hoping more than most I’m wrong. But yes, that is my gut feeling right now.Seanspeed wrote: ↑20 May 2022, 15:25So you seem to acknowledge that basing any conclusions on FP1 is silly, yet you're doing it anyways, and telling us we're not allowed to bring up to you how basing conclusions on FP1 is silly. lolJPBD1990 wrote: ↑20 May 2022, 14:47I know it’s FP1 and all the usual caveats apply (before people feel it necessary to point that out and ridiculing me for having an opinion)… I also note that Ferrari are currently 1-2 in the timings.

It's a joke with Green Red Bull cans.Sieper wrote: ↑20 May 2022, 15:16Can you explain a bit further? I see a picture of the pitwall?Sevach wrote: ↑20 May 2022, 14:31https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FTM42hoX0AA ... name=large
Nicely played.
You didn’t need a gut feeling to see which cars would have an advantage at those tracks. Your post almost reads as concern trolling.JPBD1990 wrote: ↑20 May 2022, 15:28Just a gut feeling. How did they get those cans made in such short time?
It is the Red Bull Summer Edition Cactus.
Mercedes was happy about the Pink Mercedes, so why can't RedBull be happy about the green RedBull?Sevach wrote: ↑20 May 2022, 14:31https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FTM42hoX0AA ... name=large

Top speed on main straight not meaningful for Mercedes. Their last corner exit speed is extremely poor compared to the other two.dialtone wrote: ↑20 May 2022, 15:44https://i.imgur.com/9QYD4yI.jpeg
* Ferrari highest top speed, that new DRS wing helps, despite probably the highest downforce of the group again, Campsa in that Ferrari is way faster 4-7kph, but then Leclerc doesn't push the acceleration much further after it so everyone else catches up on speed.
* Verstappen certainly took a very different path in S3, probably had traffic or somesuch, I would say there's more in the lap for him
* There's also a bit more in S3 from Russell, the acceleration to finish line could be better
* Merc is close
So you saw max in traffic on TV, then you interpret it from the graph. It's like stating the obvious.dialtone wrote: ↑20 May 2022, 15:44https://i.imgur.com/9QYD4yI.jpeg
