After the indecision during this race by Freitas, particularly on both starts, Wittich>Freitas.

The reason we had issues last year was due to indecision and not treating the rule as a rule. According to DiResta the reason given why the restart wasn't a standing start was because it would be unfair. And the excuse for the delayed start was supposedly the lights...

Wittich seems to have an unemotional and methodical approach to following the rules and treating them as is

Why wasn't Lewis penalized? He wasn't alongside Ocon in that corner
I just seen that incident having missed it in the race. Cant see why Ocon got a penalty for that. Yes he moved over to cover the insie, but Lewis was nowhere near to being alongside. Front wing vs rear tyre.
There was another incident after where Ocon literally squeezed Lewis into the wall a while after. It wasn't televised and Sky F1 only showed it once briefly at the end of the race and barely talked about it. I think the stewards considered both incidents.

Didn't give Hamilton ample time to back out and crowded him

Binotto: "Carlos lost time behind Latifi. It probably cost him the win."

At this point, what’s Latifi’s business in F1?

Holy shi-

So Latifi carried on his run of helping Red Bull in races by holding up Sainz for all of S1 and Albon Red Bull Jr driver held up Leclerc for what looked like basically a whole lap??

Wow. Not a good look there. Surely there is some explaining to do here?

And no penalties for either Williams driver? Are you not supposed to yield within three corners?

Why no penalty for blocking for an entire sector/lap?

They’ll never allow it.
Yes, I'm afraid, it's a difficult situation
Based on what? Crashing during qualifying preventing Verstappen from starting before him? Getting the better strategy during the race and then finishing barely 2 seconds before Verstappen on a track where overtaking is almost impossible? I guess Sainz is a title contender now too? Don't be silly, Leclerc and Verstappen are way faster over a full GP distance than Sainz and Perez.
It wasn't a better strategy for Sergio. It was the gunea pig strategy. If it was better Max would have clearly gotten it. It actuall played out as a surprise the the Inters could gain that much time before the track dired out.

I blame Williams for this. They have lost out to points for years having a pay driver in the second car. And the data isn't useful because one driver is so off the pace. Started with the Bruno Senna/Maldando days. They'd probably get better sponsors if they had better quality drivers
