At first I thought the same, but apparently he was after the pit entry when the VSC started and before the entry the next lap when it ended. Even Sainz exited uner green flags.

I think Ferrari actually had a decent strategy this weekend.
definitely, yeah. Sainz just said that they should have gone for Softs in the end to attack Verstappen, but they didn't expect the SC period to last this long.

For me this championship is over. RB/Max are superior operationally to Ferrari/Charles.
Only Merc/Lewis(George ?) can cope with theses guys.
If I want to be provocative I would tsay there's more chance of a Merc title challenge than a Ferrari one...
I think Ferrari actually had a decent strategy this weekend. Given the slow stop for Lec with the rear jack man being a bit eager which put him a little out of position. Capitalised on the virtual safety car stop.
Yes you are right but in the end Verstappen took the 25 points. Sainz wasn't going for the kill in qualy or behind Verstappen. Leclerc stop was slow. It's very little weaknesses (this weekend) but it's not the top level Hamilton/Merc had in the 2nd half of 2021 which allowed him to (almost) win the title.

Leclerc's remontada wasn't bad but I mean again look at Brazil 2021 or even Verstappen in Sochi.

Button being a bit optimistic with a 6 way fight in Silverstone? I know everyone said the same about Spain and look where that ended up.

IMHO, he shouldnt run before he can walk.

Hamilton will be very strong, it's his strongest venue alongside Budapest and Montreal usually.
But... it's also Leclerc favorite track. He bring the SF1000 on the podium...
Overall I think RB will have a bit of edge especially given the fact they'll bring upgrade but Leclerc will be on pole and Hamilton can do what he should've done in Barcelona.

Red Bull staff not allowed to go back into the garage after the race as Canadian police were in with the sniffer dogs.

I dont think Leclerc would have done anything different to Sainz. Leclerc struggled to overtake Ocon after both launched off the hairpin. The Ferrari of leclerc didnt have enough traction today.

Mick needs some points. He was doing really well and his qualy pace has improved.

Alonso again with bad luck, and just not being able to get a good clean race. He had good race pace this time around and was on for a solid finish, at least 4th.

Gasly was invisible today and so was Vettel and Lando. Though I believe Lando had engine issues.
For Sure!!

Leclerc tires were 20 laps older than Ocon's... What are you people on about?

Well deserved. Bottas actually had to brake, not just lift. Should have been an instant penalty.

Yup, he was weaving too much.

Great race from Max, Sainz and Lewis.

Mick can't catch a break he could have easily scored 7th or 8th.

Magnussen ruining his race again just like in Spain, he could have easily scored 5th. This time the difference is he didn't give a puncture to Lewis. I don't know what he thinks he can achieve by such moves

Why is it? Its pretty well established that you can't drive like that in F1

Alonso after the hype yesterday fell like a stone today. The alpine didn't have any pace, however, his antics after he lost out to ocon was hilarious. He was saying "I need to be ahead, I was 100 times faster than him" reminded me of his famous "I brought 7 tenths" claim I'm 2007 :D and in that desperation he blocked bottas very hard...he knew exactly what he was doing.
