Be interesting given the conditions tomorrow. Dry race red bull have a much faster car as shown in FP3.

I imagine Max getting past Sainz pretty quickly to be honest
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

No. Max was already slow (for him) well before that.
No Max just said he got hindered by the yellow flag. He had to lift.
Yes, but his middle sector was already down - it's not like he was setting purples and then lost the pole because of that spin.
Did you see the margin? If he didn't lift he would have all you guys screaming he should get a penalty. Max is wiser now, he just needs a good start now.

What a bunch of clowns at the track booing Max
Sounded to me more like they were apricating his recovery from a very close off.
Whole world was with Hamilton and also Verstappen because of some brazilian word. I hope that Hamilton will now stand with Verstappen and say to his fans that booing is not appropriate.

Did Leclerc's spin ruin Verstappen's lap?
No. Max was already slow (for him) well before that.
Lol, no. Verstappen was sort of cruising for 2-3 seconds because of overzealous yellows when leclerc spun. Cost him 1 second at least. So sainz has solely leclerc to thank for this pole position.

Did you even watch the session? Max was 0.5sec down on his best time in the second sector. Leclerc spun well ahead of him in sector 3.

No, it was the final lap. I mean, I get why they throw yellows for the spin, but the whole thing lasted a few seconds (the spin itself), so that was some handy work from the marshals.

He was down because he had to cruise for leclerc's yellows (this was before S3). Otherwise verstappen takes this pole with at least 1s margin.

That's nothing new! It happened to Alonso and Vettel too. Quite classy fans I must say.
It's happened to Hamilton over the years too. And he got monkey chants thrown in too. Classy fans everywhere, it seems.

Ham will stand will Verstappen just like Verstappen stood for him in Holland last year

The smooth operator is back. Let's hope this one gets him that elusive win.
Race will be all about tyres if it is dry as expected.

I don't see anything other than a Max win tomorrow unless something silly happens.

Max lost this pole. The conditions were just tricky and q3 was a gamble. He was dominating the whole session. I think the redbull is clearly ahead now. Max doesnt even need to pass sainz in the first stint. He can win on pace and stratrgy. Perez will also beat the 2 ferraris is my prediction.

Hamilton seems to be liking the upgrades. Seems like he is back to his old self. He was definitely pushing hard this qualifying. I am not sure what Russel was doing but he couldnt hold his pace over the whole lap.

Fantastic job by Zhou. He seems to be super confident in the wet.

Alonso also did well. I do wonder if his car was more biased to qualifying.
For Sure!!
