I'm on holiday atm and saw on twitter the results. How far back was the Mercs and were they on track to to being closer to pole before Perez yellow flag?
I think like Ham was 0.13 slower in s1 or s2, don t remember exactly. Think it was S2. He could've displaced Carlos who was 0.09 off (maybe).

It didn't seem like a high deg circuit when Max used 1 tire to get into Q3.
his longrun on Softs in FP3 was good as well:

7 10:11.750
8 1:16.885
9 1:17.369
10 1:17.157
11 1:17.040
12 1:17.522
13 1:17.218
14 1:17.038
15 1:16.459
16 P 1:21.521

but Haas for example had high degradation in FP2:

15 9:40.610
16 1:17.787
17 1:18.134
18 1:18.673
19 1:19.121
20 1:19.686
21 1:19.513
Okay, I assumed he didn't do any runs because F1-tempo has been really flaky this weekend. Looks good. Being able to get into Q3 on a used tire suggest the RB is not using up the tire much.

I’d be surprised if, barring safety cars, it’s not a S/M one-stopper. The softs seemed to be holding up pretty well and given overtaking difficulty track position will be important. That said, I can also see some SCs and/or VSCs happening and even a VSC might shift that balance.

Feels like (yet another) missed opportunity for Ferrari to capitalise on their quali performance at a circuit that ought to be hard to overtake on. Usually the RB - and even the Merc - are comparatively stronger in race pace; Ferrari say and looked like their race pace was pretty good here so let’s see but I think Leclerc had the pace for pole and may rue his middle sector not being stronger (presuming he can’t jump Max at the start).

It's Toto. Hard to believe what he says.
Max - 24,229; 24.556; 21.557
Lec - 24.155; 24.569; 21.461
Sai - 24.176; 24.627; 21.631
Ham - 24.252; 24.574; Yellow.

Toto must be confusing up and down.
Correction. Lewis wasn't even beating Sainz.

Max - 24,229; 24.556; 21.557
Lec - 24.155; 24.747; 21.461
Sai - 24.176; 24.627; 21.631
Ham - 24.252; 24.667; Yellow.
It’s not just Toto. Where is Mark Hughes getting this?

“At the point he was forced to lift, Hamilton was around 0.1s up.

A straightforward run for all three suggested the top 3 may well have been Leclerc-Hamilton-Verstappen.”

Was pretty strong. Lewis was 4s behind Max just before stopping on lap 21 and then was just under 2s behind when max boxed to cover. So worth about 2s I'd say - quite powerful

Well, seems to be pretty much the type one would suspect. Not an environmentalist that wants to screw things up, but simply a hooligan. Unfortunately, F1s success in the Netherlands means such types are attracted to other stadiums than just football now. Good thing: none of the bystanders seemed particularly thrilled by this action.

Guys, can we try to stop insulting millions just because? Can we stop and breathe before posting? Can we add some context to posts?
That aggressive looking guy, which I guess it is implied that was the flare thrower... he had been showered in beer. And he looked back (very) angry. Nothing more.

Do not try to pick fights here, thanks. Fights kill any chance of level-headed discussion.

Charles botched his last Q3 run which is a rare thing. He would have easily gotten pole by as much as 2 tenths to Verstappen. Not hoping to much for tomorrow. Max will most likely turn first into T1 and then game over. Bar any surprises it will be a snoozefest.

It does not have to be straight forward race. He can have a bad start or over cook the first turn. I do wonder if Hamilton has a chance to win here... if even by luck.
For Sure!!
