The F1 calendar was full of street tracks in the 80's and 90's unless I am mistaken? Aside from Monaco, we had Long Beach, Detroit, Dallas, Adelaide, Phoenix etc.
So for at least 40 years it has been typical for F1 to have plenty of street tracks.
Yeah he is just out of practice. Driving dominant cars at the front for years would do that to any driver so can't blame him.
