Wouldn't be surprised given how much his pace dropped off. There was even shots on the main straight where you could still see the Alpine debris on the track.
He ran over something and then got tagged by Sainz I believe.
This is how it looks when Verstappen choose wrong tires
His laptimes went from 14.5-14.8 to 16.0-16.5 even before front wing damage (that was clumsy from max, oh well..), so there was almost certainly damage somewhere on the car.BlueCheetah66 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 22:14Wouldn't be surprised given how much his pace dropped off. But they'll have to use the mediums tomorrow regardless.
The same man that claims there is too much toxicity on this forum cant wait to spit some poison . Hypocracy in a nutshell.
I think the understeer killed the front tires.Juzh wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 22:18His laptimes went from 14.5-14.8 to 16.0-16.5 even before front wing damage (that was clumsy from max, oh well..), so there was almost certainly damage somewhere on the car.BlueCheetah66 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 22:14Wouldn't be surprised given how much his pace dropped off. He his Alonso's front wing debris and likely got underfloor damage as a result, no way that red bull is that slow in good conditionjz11 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 22:09this particular sprint sort of shows how you could race if you didn't have to nurse tires and save fuel in this era
pretty sure Max had some sort of issue with the car, didn't manage to pull gap since the start, and lost about a second a lap after getting passed, in the dominant (c) car
Cars can be patched up.falonso81 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 22:19Red Bull threw the sprint win away by choosing mediums. Maybe they are saving softs for the race? Gonna be a two-stopper at least judging by the sprint.
Also, can Red Bull fix Verstappen's car for the race?(i mean floor damage if he had any) Aren't the cars in parc ferme now?
that is the normal fanspeak mate:
This!!fourmula1 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 22:13How do you guys misinterpret his post that much. With equal cars we see 4 drivers in play for the win. Replay this sprint over and over and anyone of them can win. That is the point. We get closer racing when the cars are closely matched. Maybe its so obvious it didn't need to be stated? That's how it looks when the cars are equal.
Additional note, I'll take that in lieu of a practice session every weekend.
Maybe, hard to tell, could also be graining. But they were definitely garbage in terms of pace after first 9 laps, then they went +1s very fast. A big blunder from whoever decided meds were tyre to start on.AR3-GP wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 22:19I think the understeer killed the front tires.Juzh wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 22:18His laptimes went from 14.5-14.8 to 16.0-16.5 even before front wing damage (that was clumsy from max, oh well..), so there was almost certainly damage somewhere on the car.BlueCheetah66 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 22:14
