I think the call come from above to let Checo back through, so not the teams fault. It was spiteful of Max. Checo has helped him out plenty in the past so I guess that will stop now next season.

They were caught badly in the Austria sprint weekend with a poor set up. It might have happened again.

Must be setup related. Can't imagine how Mercedes would have crawled back that pace advantage, considering where they were. Although hopefully bodes well for next year?

Only reason I can think of is he thinks points should be earned on merit, and checo has fell back to let him past before.

Mercedes had the car this weekend. Had the edge over Ferrari and this cements it.

Edge over Sainz. Leclerc was massive 20s behind Sainz before his post-collision stop and still finished right behind him. Without Norris, Leclerc would have had a chance to win. Just a chance, not a sure thing.
