"You don't ask again, are we clear about that?" What the actual f***... Imagine being an employee of a company and saying that to your boss... WOW

I'm so glad RBR and Sky patched things up so we can get this.

"I saw he had no intention to give me space and I had no intention to back out"

So Max deliberately crashed into Ham?!

The silliest thing about it is in many future races it means Perez will no longer fight as hard to help him.

So the extra place today will probably cost him many places in the future.
This 100%

I can't understand what kind of person would do this to a teamate, he's already WC so the points are meaningless to him, he had absolutly nothing to loose, it would only have won him even more loyalty from a reliable and solid teamate.

Just a stupid and mean move from Max, I can't see this going down well within the team, it's been a bad weekend and now they have to swallow this.
Eh, they’re all the same. Should George have let HAM pass so he doesn’t go the whole season without a win? George has MANY years to get a win. Should Sainz have let Charles through to help with P2? Carlos is already over 100 points ahead of Norris. Yes, it was a D*** move by Max, but it’s not surprising.
I bet all I have that the other drivers will not deny a teammate second in the championship in order to secure a completely meaningless P6 in a race  What’s more fun than Max making a complete fool of himself is to see the attemps at justifying his vile actions.

It's not surprising, but it should be fully condemned by RB

Kudos to Horner (who I dislike at times) for at least being open and honest about it

Is he? Because he is trying to minimise it and while Verstappen and Horner seem to believe its all sorted it appears Perez wasn't part of that conversation.

What was the explanation for the Tsunoda unlapping catastrophe?
I guess they just forgot about him? Can't see any other potential explanation
or not. Apparently he was lapped after the safety car came out (because he pitted) and therefor wasn't eligible to unlap himself:

55.13 If the clerk of the course considers it safe to do so, and the message “LAPPED CARS MAY NOW OVERTAKE” has been sent to all Competitors using the official messaging system, any all cars that have been lapped by the leader will be required to pass the cars on the lead lap and the safety car.

This will only apply to cars that were lapped at the time they crossed the Line at the end of the lap during which they crossed the first Safety Car line for the second time after the safety car was deployed.

edit: I just checked his onboard, and he was lapped already. But maybe unlapped himself for a second when he entered the pits, just over the SC line

He said they’d shaken hands on it. So I’m guessing there must have been at least some words exchanged?
Who knows 😂

I thought the interview was reasonable for a team principal

Horner said nothing to condemn it. Even said the penalty was harsh. Joke of a team, run by an absolute tool. No class from dirty max, zero regard for anyone but himself, and the Perez stuff is just pretty disgusting after what Checo has sacrificed for him

Well I wouldn't say Red Bull is run by a tool or a joke for being double world champions

What makes the whole Verstapen case worse is that he didn’t even try to defend himself on the radio after the race! He was absolutely savage…he could have at least said in the lines of “sorry I was only 0.4 behind Fernando and I thought I could overtake”!!

That’s a lesson for Perez though! The guy raced Hamilton so hard last year especially at Abu Dhabi whereas Bottas never really got in the battle between Max and Lewis! Perez battled as if he would gain something really great! There’s your present Checo…

There’s absolutely no way Marko or Horner will defend Perez! They didn’t even defend Webber back in Malaysia 2013…

That’s so unsportsmanlike by Max! You should never forget those who helped you get what you’ve got now! If it wasn’t for Checo last year Max wouldn’t have been a two time champion this year!

Anyway, Max also confirmed a point I was making earlier in the year! He races Hamilton differently to anyone else! He never was as aggressive with Leclerc all year long…

Holy --- Verstappen literally just said he knew that Hamilton wasn't going to give him space and so he just went for it... SMH
