Considering the brake issues Mclaren had last year at Bahrain, anyone who thinks otherwise needs to take a course in rational thinking.

Ok the car is faster but how do you come to the conclusion that the other cars are even faster than Mclaren if there isn't any comparison yet?

What I am saying is that Mclaren 2023 is clearly way faster than last year's car. What I am against is the opinion that other teams new cars are faster than the current Mclaren when nobody has gone on quick laps.

he was impressedd how he wrestled the car, but they went on to say, that they were very insecure about the vibes coming out from the team, whereas am and alpine there are positive vibes/rumors

Yeah over a circuit if this isn't faster I'll eat my own shoes, and for anyone who has been near my shoes will tell you, that's a big thing!

But for speed traps in Qualy the brakes were less of a thing and they should reflect. it is worth factoring in that at the start of the sesin the Merc engines were being a bit more conservative.

But to put it another way, we are not trying to go fast and we are about matching the fastest speed traps from cars that were set up to go very fast.

Then my apologies. I understood your meaning wrong before. I assumed you said that the other teams had much faster 2023 cars than Mclaren 2023.
