What matters is if they have enough downforce for tomorrow so they can actually race with the others.

Remember that Merxa biggest issue all of 2022 was warming up their tyres.

They had to do two laps every quali just to qualify over half a second off the pace and couldn't use strategy during races due to very slow tyre warmup.

If they are working the tyres harder now, it should be better for them as they'll actually be able to use more of the available grip per lap in the race.

As per last year the RB is winning in the sectors with the straights and the Ferrari is winning in the sectors with the corners.
