Mercedes terrible pace, especially in Hamilton's hands, both are going to be passed by AM.
Russell is equally slow, and going nowhere fast.

I wonder what Piastri is thinking king right now regarding his Alpine to McLaren move.
If McLaren keeps going backwards in 2023, Oscar is going to be rethinking his life choices for sure. I wonder if he is already.

Stroll 2.5s off Russell and that is coming down. That's when you know the car is slow. Alonso has been massively held up otherwise he'd be miles ahead

Well this is a fun race, regulations doing a great job of stopping a team from dominating and its also clear once again Perez will pose zero threat to max all season which makes for a garbage championship fight.

tire difference is best bet to pass LEC
verstappen is also on soft and on same pace as lec, as is perez. not sure what their plan is.
How come they have the same pace? Soft is much faster!
They are a faster now, but lec will be fast at the end on soft.

Wow, even more boring than watching paint dry...

Russel has been in battles, Hamilton had been in clean air, if roles were reversed Russell would have been challenging Sainz IMO.

I’m not sure the regulations were designed to stop a single team dominating but rather to stop one team in particular dominating.

Both Aston Martins are about to do a synchronized attack on the Mercs.

Don’t feed the troll. I have him on ignore precisely for his nonsensical anti-Lewis vitriol.

Great racing so far. 2-8 all having battles. AMR chasing merc on tyre deg. Verstappen showing them why he's so good at race management.
