It didn’t look too bad after FP3 in Bahrain but quali didn’t turn out too good- especially for Piastri but fingers crossed

I don't think they had empty tanks. That's a legitimate difference between cars.

Couldn’t have. Lando had to abort lap 1 on the softs, blocked by Max, and immediately did a second lap. This isn’t even ideal prep. Think they will be in the mix.

Gap from third to 15th half a second a perfect from either lando or Oscar could see them quite high up for quali traffic is gonna be a problem though lots of laps getting affected this weekend

Regarding Baku. Is it a B-Spec car with a new philosophy or is it gonna be a major upgrade that's gonna be implemented on the current car? Whatever it will be it must deliver 7 tenths at least in order for the team to be able to say that they are doing something.

The car seems much better in Saudi Arabia than Bahrain but I can't wait to see the new car in Baku. That is if it's a B-Spec Car and not an upgrade on the current one.

It won't be a B-Spec car, it's simply a new floor. Small upgrade, with a big step forward. That's why McLaren were understandably frustrated not to have it ready before Baku.

Promising pace in FP3, going to be super tight in qually. Alpine in the mix too, could be a lottery for who makes it into Q3. Will be exciting to watch!

Only a new floor? How can one small upgrade give such a big step forward? James Key talked about a huge amount of time. If it gives 7 tenths then it is a big step but can a new floor only do that?
