Sounds like the first upgrade will focus on the floor as expected, and the second upgrade package will be more sweeping changes across the car's aerodynamic surfaces - the 'b spec'.

It is good to know the second upgrade comes before the shutdown... I'm thinking it's likely to be Barcelona?

Only three people from the team fall under the cost cap + pilots

Is there anything stopping drivers from making "donations" or "gifts" to employees or on behalf of employees during the holidays?

Zooming out, as an outsider of the organization. The way I see it, the old technical structure does not allow fresh ideas to go through, and being more conservative in the development path. That coincide with the lack innovative idea we saw in the car in the last few years.

I love that Stella has basically come in to the big job, and gone let's sort this out, and do it ny way.

We've all had jobs and thought I'd do it differently. He's know stepped up and gone straight for it.

I didn't mean the Niel Oatley context. I was referring to your link which outlines all of the technical and structural changes being made to unlock Mclaren's potential, as soon as the previous guy in charge left...Almost as if to say this is what the previous guy should have done...

Seidl did good to push for new infrastructure however, so I'd say he did some good things but maybe Stella is doing the rest of what should have been done seasons ago.

I’ve been thinking this for a while since James Key left.
For all we know there might have been a sketch of the current Aston Martins ‘slidepods’ concept drawn by a Mclaren aerodynamicist in December 22 but was cast aside as too risky when it came to sign the car 23 off
