Why can't red and white be for Coca Cola?
I was thinking this for a while now but if the other teams drawn the top aero people from the grid, could we choose some people from the aeronautics like SpaceX,Boeing, etc?
The red and white, if put into the "arrow" type shape of Marlboro is also controlled in regard to advertising tobacco product. The tobacco manufacturers were, before initial word display ban, cultivating the graphic only display to partly circumvent the expected banning, ultimately making legislation conscious of this aspect too. Its a very finely drawn legal line for some country and broadcast coverage.
Outside industry skill sets, often drawn on in their history, carbon based chassis and "j type " inerta dampers being two notable contributing technologies arriving from different fields of experience, both brought in by mclaren.
Significant issues now being time/budget/testing etc all really forcing the teams toward a more common approach. They, promoters, want team operational and driver skills to be more the differential aspect in making the championship rather than innovation in it's pure form.
