Also very happy PIA kept it out of the wall. He'll gain confidence through the weekend. The Sprint will be good practice for him

True but still a very big step forward - the team deserves it.
That was only for Stroll AFAIK, and it was only the last straight. With it he clearly beats Piastri, but still not bad from Oscar. We all know how fast Lando is. Lando matched Alonso and, as far as I could see, they were both on fresh tires. Being equal to AM is a great showing on a track that has not been our friend basically ever. AM are probably still mighty quick in race pace, though, so I dont expect us to be able to hang come sunday, but being ahead of Alpine is great news anyway for "just" a floor update.
yes, but Norris used three new sets in Q1 (5 in total - Piastri only 4) - at least if the live timing is correct:
