I think many already knew it was an issue. Undeniably quick, but it has always come with these moments. Binned it during his Sauber days, and in the Ferrari at Imola, France, Mexico City and yesterday. I’m sure there are more examples.

RB built a good car. Nout wrong with that. It’s a good chance that the RB19 isn’t even the fastest car over 1 lap. The Ferrari seems to have better pace over 1 lap - especially when you look at pole positions since the start of the era.


Funny that all the people complaining now werent the ones who were complaining for however many years at the start of then hybrid era where Mercedes had even more pace/dominance.

Stretching again are we? In 3 out of 4 races the RB19 took pole pretty convincingly, and it’s not even only one driver who dominates. In the races there is absolutely no match, not even close, despite Ferrari closing in somewhat on one lap pace.

It’s only natural that people complain when their team is not winning anymore. But let’s not pretend that the Red Bull drivers aren’t enjoying the same benefits as the Mercedes drivers did when they won.

They clearly aren’t. At least not last year. This year it seems the car is indeed the best, 4 races in. but then again, Max already had to endure the car stopping on track during Jeddah qualy, Mercedes was rock solid.

Using the qualifying pace as an indicator for dominance would work fine if we had a qualifying championship, which we haven’t. The F2002 for example was one of the most dominant cars in history, but was regularly outqualified, five times in a row mid season, but demolished all cars in the races. Similar story for RB this year, and most of last year.

It matters zero if a car won by 40 seconds versus 20 seconds, 18 races in a season vs 15 races, took 15 poles vs 10 poles. Being on the lower side of those numbers still makes it very easy for you to take the championship or ”check out”. Tired of all double standards.

RB fans biggest worry right now, is not the competition, but the colour of the livery, and if they like it or not.

Btw, I´m interested in knowing whether there will be on-track action today so, how´s the wheater right now? Will there be any rain today or tomorrow?

There are different weather forecasts. Although the probability has been reduced, a storm is still possible. It would be the worst considering the current temperatures and that the asphalt is new. If the grease from the asphalt appears and a storm comes... In any case, the dirt on the track still seems to me the greatest risk even if there is no storm.

I think the most a team done was 9 laps. Unsure why, but possibly better weather for representative conditions today in FP3.
