Yes I was trying to highlight the "inside" of the inlet. It's actually quite large.

Is the suspension hanging/sagging? Could that throw off people's interpretation of updated geometry?

We'll need to see at least 5-6 different angles all over the fully assembled car to get anything close to a decent picture about the overall sidepod geometry. Since they now have an actual undercut under the inlet, the whole pressure distribution will change a lot, but we need to see some dimensions relative to the rest of the car to get a decent idea of whats going on :)

I noticed that as well, seems like theres a gap in the sidepods towards the rear

According to Toto and some posters this should be a vanilla side pod. So my guess is they are testing the floor and suspension mostly. Monaco is not about aero efficiency so these sidepods could very well be a rudimentary version

Yes this is more a test about if the sidepods are doing something bad and affecting the rest, we will see them bring the old ones to compare

I see some are still wondering if/how there's a midwing(let) still there even with undercut, so this might be useful:

On W13 the midwing and sidepod were completely separate, on W14 there's an inner transition surface where a single Y-cut section is present - allowing the team to generate an undercut (like all other teams). Basically, as some members already said, this transforms the upper surface of the wing into an extended upper inlet lip (overbite) - in the eyes of FIA reading the rules :mrgreen:
