And his replacement could easily be tsunoda. Yuki seems nearly ready to step up imo. He almost never crashes now, beat Gasly in 2nd half of '22 and is crushing de vries.
Marko has recently inferred on the topic of Yuki/Nyck that they brought Nyck in to measure Yuki's performance.. so to me they are already thinking about moving him up to RB

Team radio championship between max and yuki would be tight
I read a rumor that it's a new floor.organic wrote: ↑30 May 2023, 18:41Marko could be trolling, but:

So there is confirmation of at least some upgrade(s) in BarcelonaHelmut Marko confirms this in conversation with OE24. What new parts the Milton Keynes-based racing stable will bring to Montmeló the 80-year-old consultant does not say: "We are going to try something new in Barcelona," Marko told the Austrian television station.
Having blooded young guns prematurely, like Kvyat, Gasly and Albon and burning their hands, RB took a wiser approach to go for someone more experienced to manage the second seat. Yuki is just a hot head and completely under cooked driver to be where he is. His inability to race in difficult circumstances, more specifically in wet and being too afraid of crashing, leaves a lot to be desired of for a Red Bull driver. It would make sense to either put Daniel back or bring Albon back if they plan to replace Perez.Bill wrote: ↑30 May 2023, 16:25perez come with big sponsor in the form of telcel.he guaranteed to come second with car they have so i think he will calm down ones he realise that the championship is gone.organic wrote: ↑30 May 2023, 15:26What has he said?

It is a poor translation. I have found the source material and the proper translation is:
oe24: What do you expect from Mercedes now?
Marko: They have brought a huge update, but with regard to Imola. The cancellation there hurts them because they would have needed the three practice sessions there to optimize the innovations. All this will do them no good in Monaco. We won't try anything new until Barcelona.
Interesting. That would be a big upgrade considering the changes already made for Baku (floor/sidepods)AR3-GP wrote: ↑30 May 2023, 18:47I read a rumor that it's a new floor.organic wrote: ↑30 May 2023, 18:41Marko could be trolling, but:

RB originally claimed that they had a 2 tenths upgrade and a 3 tenths upgrade coming (I think this was Wazari several pages ago).organic wrote: ↑30 May 2023, 19:04Interesting.
